I can think of one... building a new embassy renders all of Israel's bugs in the old one useless.

I didn't. Had I wanted to say that, I would have. Go back and read what I posted. I'll repeat it for you below. Trump is directly to blame, however, for pulling us out of the Iran Nuclear Accord.

Most readers here will have no trouble correctly understanding my opinion as stated in my original post.

Charlie Munger once said, “Show me the incentive, I'll show you the outcome.”

Wildchild wants to suck his own dick. Outcome is he struggles to do so every day.

Lawless in Gaza: Why Britain and the West Back Israel’s Crimes

One of the fundamentals of international law – at the heart of the Geneva Conventions – is a prohibition on collective punishment: that is, retaliating against the enemy’s civilian population, making them pay the price for the acts of their leaders and armies.

Very obviously, Gaza is about as flagrant a violation of this prohibition as can be found. Even in “quiet” times, its inhabitants – one million of them children – are denied the most basic freedoms, such as the right to movement; access to proper health care because medicines and equipment cannot be brought in; access to drinkable water; and the use of electricity for much of the day because Israel keeps bombing Gaza’s power station.

Israel has never made any bones of the fact that it is punishing the people of Gaza for being ruled by Hamas, which rejects Israel’s right to have dispossessed the Palestinians of their homeland in 1948 and imprisoned them in overcrowded ghettos like Gaza.

What Israel is doing to Gaza is the very definition of collective punishment. It is a war crime: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of every year, for 16 years.

A reasonable argument can be made that this current Gaza -- Israeli blow-up might have been avoided altogether or substantially muted had Trump not withdrawn the U.S. from the seven-nation "Iran Nuclear Deal",

    Who wrote this?

Ohhh it was written by you. So your reasonable argument is that the whole blow-up could have been avoided altogether if Trump didnt withdraw from the JCPOA but you are not blaming Trump for it. That makes zero sense.

I guess another reasonable argument would be if Obama never did the JCPOA, it wouldnt exist, so Trump could never withdraw from it in the first place.

You leftists make claims you can't back up.

Yes. That's exactly what I wrote. Why not read it before responding? By the way, in the English language, "could" and "might" are not synonyms. If you don't know what a synonym is, look it up. What is your first language? Apparently it is not English.

    Edit: not perfect synonyms.

I often disagree with you, however in your post here some clearly valid points are made. And although there can be no question that Hamas has committed unspeakable atrocities, Israel has had a hand in creating the animosity that has driven Hamas to do these horrible things.

I don't know that young Kushner's involvement was helpful. He meant well, but he is inexperienced, and I think it was a bad choice for the Trump administration to send an inexperienced Jewish diplomat to broker peace in the Middle East. Previous administrations had recognized the necessity of maintaining a more neutral stance and not pandering to Netanyahu.
