My spreadsheets could be my journals I guess. I spend way more time on them than trading...also Netflix. This is why I don't understand day traders. I can't think of a more meaningless, futile endeavor than waking up every morning stuck in front of the computer trading blindly for hours believing in falsehoods...and then wasting more time journaling about it lol.
fck your BS sheets, Bro. Seriously. Why is everyone terrified about showing a PNL figure with a time stamp?
What's the point? Nobody believes it anyway. What can't be disputed is when I make price projections accurately because then you can go back in the history and see that I called it. I don't think you understand the complexity of my spreadsheets. You won't find a better position tracking sheet out there guaranteed. I even have it calculating live option prices using black Scholes and showing p&l for every option strategy out there... All being done in Google sheets no applications, scripts or data imports.
You guys just want me to journal so you can piggyback on my trades. I don't trade like you guys where I have a entry, target and a stop loss... Basically like every retail trader out there lol. I trade for maximum income not capital gains. Capital gains is just a bonus.
Wouldn't that work out good for you if a bunch of us jumped in to your trade after you made it? We know you don't trade like us. We just have trouble believing that you make any money trading the way you claim you trade. All you have to do is post the trades you make. As soon as possible after you make them. We will then be the judge of whether you know what you are doing. You have the time, you have been challenged, why the reluctance to show us that you are as good as you claim to be?
You think your recognition means anything to me? You have greatly overestimated how much your opinion matters. If I want to feel good about myself, I'll just go for a drive.
You guys gang up on poor @wxytrader. Not a fair fight in a trading forum. It would be a different discussion at the annual shareholder's meeting at Berkshire. i actually agree with his view, as an investor. It is a tale of two cities, two different cultures, Bill O'Neill vs Warren Buffett, shop merchant selling widgets vs owner of the shop.... On long term investing, it is better to act like an owner than a merchant, no SL. On short term trades, it is better to act like a merchant, better to have SL.
Credibility shot!! LOL Didn't think you could back up your claims. You drive the lambo during the winter?
