No wonder you keep evading my request to show your trades in real time. BTW not every stock opens gap down and not everyone place their stop exactly at the swing low, which tells me either you don't know what the hell you're talking about or you're simply full of crap.
Real time? I posted my Mara trade a week before it hit my entry and 2 weeks before it hit my target. You guys can't project price at all. This place is amateur hour when it comes to TA. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/mara.381736/page-3
That's exactly how I feel about your magic predictions. Dude, nowhere in that thread you mentioned did you ever state exactly where you got in the trade. It's all about your Elliott Wave voodoo, and all are apparently contingent on "what if" bullsh*t. Like yeah, even a 7 year old kid could do that.
You did with MARA and GME What is BK? If it is breakeven then there is no tax write off. Thought you were trading in a registered account. I get stopped out because the stock is not acting like I expected it to. I don't want to tie up capital in a stock that's not performing. The objective is to make money not to be right. Small losses don't bother me, big ones do. I thought you got out of MARA and traded it for BITO It's a wager you would lose, not even close and that's not even considering the stocks I bought with the cash I had because it wasn't tied up in a loser.
I don't care what a stock does... Best analogy I can use is real estate. You don't go selling a house because it drops 20%. The name of the game is making money, not jumping in and out like a p****. I'm never out of MARA. Bk= Bankruptcy
If it was in a falling real-estate market with no guarantee the market will come back I would. Happens all the time in one industry towns when the industry picks up and leaves. And I agree that the name of the game is making money. You can't make money when your capital is tied up in losing positions. So when did you get back into MARA? Last definite post you made that I could find was that you had converted MARA into BITO after taking a loss.
I'm selling monthly puts or doing buy/writes.... It's my side hustle to make my car payments. You guys keep missing the point that I control risk by capping size so if something goes against me it's only a small percentage of my portfolio. Price will always recover on an ETF that tracks Bitcoin or indexes or sectors.
So you don't actually own any MARA? That works both ways, when you make a big gain it's only a small percentage of your portfolio. But not individual stocks like MARA and SAVA. And I'm not so sure about bitcoin. I still have no way of valueing crypto. I'm trading it with ETFs but based on TA. (I'll continue to hold until the trend changes.)
