I think it depends on the traders personality. What works for me won't necessarily work for others. There are advantages and disadvantages to every time frame. Some people enjoy sitting infront of a screen, making instant decisions and getting immediate feedback. Others would rather buy, diversify and let the market do what it will. To me speculating is a business. I want my capital to work for me, not me work for my capital, so I trade a longer time frame.
Hello VicBee, Because you're being entirely ridiculous. I can say whatever I want to say as it relates to trading. It is my opinion, if you do not like it, you just do not like it. I do not like swing trading, because I do not like swing trading. I think swing trading is stupid.
Hello deaddog, Correct, we all have to do what is best for us in trading. You do not like clicking all day and I do not swing trading. ok, lets go have a beer and watch the football game.
Hello tomkat22, No one will ever in a millions years tell you this. It is too much work for someone to help you with this. Therefore you have to experiment yourself and see what timeframe(s) you like for yourself. That experiment will comes with a lot of time and effort and failures. Just keep on going.
The difference is that I don't call clicking all day stupid and a waste of time. Some people do it very well and make a lot of money. I tried it years ago and found that it wasn't for me. So I switched to something that worked for me. A beer and a football game sounds good
No football for me thanks. Sorry ass Cowboys didn't make the playoffs. Those teams in the playoffs can kill each other for all I care.
Good Evening deaddog, Yes, I did not like swing trading. Too much work. Easier to click it allllll day and night. Yes we can catch a football game and bullshit around.
