How Is Requiring ID Before One Can Vote "Disenfranchising" Voters?

You have to have ID for just about everything today (even have to have welfare ID to combat fraud) so what's the big deal? How does presenting ID you already have "disenfranchising" the voters? Might screw alot of dead people from voting in Chicago, maybe, but what's the big deal?

There shouldn't be a big deal. The only conceivable reason to not require ID to vote is to allow illegal votes to help Democrats.

I challenge someone else to give me an excuse that has merit.

It's not. Democrats feel their chances are better if dead people, illegals and any other body they can get to the polls gets to vote.

    Remember the Democratic motto:

"Vote Early And Vote Often"

  4. When I have to GIVE my photo ID to rent a fuckin' innertube to float down the Comal River and not have to show anything to vote pisses me off.

I also remember the uproar in the last decade when everyone was up in arms about leaving a thumbprint to cash a check if you didn't have an account at that bank. Another fear-mongering controversy.

It's not, it's only detractors are merely hoping for favorable voter fraud.

Reminds me of what just happened to me the other day when i went fishing, i rented an aluminum fishing boat with a 15 horsepower motor at a lake, and some dickwad conservation officer came up and gave me a 750$ ticket, for not having a boating license, then he towed our boat into shore, because i supposedly couldnt drive..... I didnt even know i needed a license, I have been driving those boats for years, and all of a sudden tony try hard decided to rake me over the coals.....

  9. You racists should understand there are two systems in the US. One, for responsible, law-abiding people. You are expected to work hard, pay your taxes, keep your kids under control, pay for their education and fund your own retirement. If you get into trouble with the law, say for a dui or maybe forget to take your hunting rifle out of the trunk, expect to be prosecuted to the full extent because of the need to show "even-handed justice" and "zero tolerance" policies. Expect to exhaust your savings on attorney fees as well.

Then there are the people obama and the democrats cater endlessly to. Nothing is expected of them. Criticizing any aspect of their dysfunctional lives is evidence of racism and a mean-spirited nature. Getting arrested means nothing to them, as they know they can run up multiple violent felonies as juveniles, then again as adults before anyone will take it seriously. And they have free legal aid attorneys to smooth the way for them.

Of course, their vote counts exactly the same as yours, or in some places like chicago, several times what yours does. Obviously, having to actually go to a registration place before the election to register to vote and prove they are legally entitled to vote is far more onerous than could reasonably be expected. I suppose we should be grateful the democrats haven't passed laws mandating that they get 100% of that vote without the necessity of them having to actually vote. So far, that has only happened in contested recall elections, like in Minnesota with the Franken robbery.

The good news is that you are a lot less likely to be pulled over and/or examined in the first place, so in the long-run you're still a lot better off being "white" in this country.
