Am I reading your profile right? You've made over 34,000 posts to this message board? That is hilarious! It might be time for you to either take a breather or get a life.

In your very limited analysis of Palantir you've only used numbers that would attempt to support your faulty conclusions. You posted numbers that indicate a total lack of understanding of the AI space, it's growth rate, and the size of the market. My estimate of $85 isn't just a snapshot of Palantir today, it considers the customers it should have been getting, the sales that should've been increasing at a greater rate, and what's to come in an AI market that everyone agrees will be in the trillions shortly.

Given their experience in the AI space, which is virtually unmatched by anyone else, and corporate Americas rush to incorporate AI into as many aspects of their business as possible, it seems Palantir would have been the first choice of many more companies resulting in much higher revenue etc. As a previous poster commented, maybe its politics.

Do us all a favor and hold off on any more comments about AI as you are demonstrably clueless in this area. Stick to consumer cyclicals or something. I'll leave you with a quote that Jensen Huang made recently (any idea who he is?).

-In an exclusive interview with Yahoo Finance following the company's earnings report, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shrugged off concerns about a future demand slowdown after the executive said the company's Q1 data center growth continued to be fueled "by strong and accelerating demand for generative AI training."

Want to take a guess as to who offers the best generative AI training and has been offering it since early 2023? As the Motley Fool website said: Palantir's AI prowess is years in the making. Palantir is one of the most popular artificial intelligence (AI) software investments. Its prowess in the space is noticeable, and it comes from a superior product and years of experience deploying AI.

And 3/4's of those posts were made back and forward with my dear buddy Stoney.

I know more about PLTR than you could ever hope. Where were you at $8.20?
When it gets to $65 from here, ie 3x like I did... ... you can then comment. Until then.... maybe shut up and realize just how naive you are.

Being an internet warrior is all well and good.... but it doesn't mean sh*t when it comes to real money and stocks. No one gives a flying fuck about your dreams, sorry if you bought in at $26. You are way out of your league son. Go buy a Starbux using your AFRM account and crawl back to me later with a little humility. I'll tell you when to buy. And that's if I'm not consumed by the next three bagger. Either way:
    --->>>>PLTR $85.....
I mean dumb like a f'n stump...

Palantir has an incredible marketing team. They have convinced all these retail traders that have never even wrote a "hello world" python script that they know more about machine learning than people actually involved in data science.

The marketing team instantly realized they should just slap the ChatGPT API into their existing product, call it AIP and then profit from the AI/LLM hype. I even think there is a brilliant strategic marketing element to conflating "API" and "AIP" in the language being used. It is comical if you look into what AIP actually is.

How the small OpenAI team could have scraped as much text data as available in existence to create chatGPT without Palantir in the first place? We will just ignore that because it doesn't fit the marketing.

  6. Palantir downgraded to Sell at Monnes, Crespi and Hardt
Monness, Crespi, and Hardt analysts have downgraded Palantir Technologies Inc (NYSE PLTR) shares from Neutral to Sell, setting a target price of $20.

PLTR shares fell nearly 5% following the market open Friday.

This decision follows a disappointing earnings season for enterprise software and the failure of the 18-month generative AI hype cycle to yield substantial revenue for most industry players. Analysts noted that the market is likely to steer clear of software stocks with excessive valuations.

“After surging 167% in 2023, Palantir’s stock was already rich upon entering 2024 and, with a 49% rally YTD, we believe valuation has now reached a gluttonous extreme,” they wrote….”

  9. OOPS!!!! LMFAO. Up over 5.3% ($1.38) today to $27. Looks like all your useless analysis is as useless as you are loser. No I didn't buy at $26, I bought at $14 genius. Something you would never do because you have demonstrated a total lack of understanding of valuation. You're trying to cite one data point and make a decision based on that.

Here's what you can't comprehend: AMD's P/E ratio (237) is higher than PLTR's and their stock price is in the 160s. ARM's PE ratio (580) is higher than PLTR's and its stock price is in the 180s. The industry/business doesn't matter, the concept is the same. I bought PLTR at 14 with a high P/E. Now it's still climbing at 27. But I also looked at the huge AI market, the spending that Facebook, Google, etc were doing, and PLTRs unique position in the AI space including longevity. It's not just one thing. Please learn investing concepts and stop embarrassing yourself. Today, The Motley Fool said that PLTR could become a $1 Trillion company: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/1-unstoppable-stock-could-join-070500178.html. By the way, I took the time to calculate your personal P/E ratio based on your hilarious number of posts (34,600) and your total earnings in the stock market ($1). As it turns out you have one of the worst PE ratios in the history of Wall Street:
    Posts/Earnings 34,600/1= 34,600.

We got a hot one!... Sizzles with only 10 posts? Yikes. Advice? Lay off the speed and pop the chills.

PLTR is a dud if for no other reason that it is cloaked in secrecy, gov projects heavy and challenged expanding beyond. Over the past few years I've heard a few good analysts swearing PLTR like the new coming only to deflate and move on after months of yawns.
