They are masterful with the foreshadowing. I can't remember if it was the second season where they began every episode with the floating eyeball in the pool and other ominous foretellings...until you got to the end of the season with the mid-air collision and the "ah-ha" moment. It was brilliantly done. I read the other day that Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman) based the character on Robert Evans, the infamous Hollywood producer. It's a great character, even carried a few otherwise "filler" episodes.
