@MarchFX, Do you live in a West Pacific time zone? NZD pairs are fine for longer term trades, but for intraday, aren't pairs with higher volume and tighter spreads preferable? Also, the London session is definitely best for intraday, although I realize some people cannot accommodate themselves to London session hours.

 

@nattybumppo my time zone if GMT + 3.

I use both long term and scalping strategies. However, my strategy does not accommodate any news, both high impact and medium impact news. I was not supposed to trade the gbpnzd pair, however, I have come up with a nice strategy to avoid those news. From Feb I will be using a new approach, whereby I draft a schedule of when and when not to generate signals. There are times when I have to avoid the market completely.

 

Your result is very interesting, and there is something to think about.
