I have a good start in the month of April.

USDJPY will be traded in this account starting April 7, 2014.

For the month of April three pairs will be traded in this account.

    GBPJPY
    GBPAUD
    USDJPY

  3. very interesting insight:
on the myfxbook, the drawdown in percentage is it per trade or per day?
Is it the maximum drawdown while the trade is on, or is it at the close of the trade?

The week ended April 11th started a bumpy ride, but recovered the loses towards the end of the week to end up positive for the week and for the month.

  5. I like your journal. I had a journal similar to yours (in the sense that the aim was to start from $100, and make $100K), but it got taken over by trolling in addition to a number of insults that lasted for years. I am glad someone else i trying a similar idea.

I have some questions (please feel free to skip answering my questions):

    1. Who is your broker?
    2. What money management formula(e) are you using?
    3. Could the reporting website access only a sub-account from ones account?

    Best of luck to you!

    1. Who is your broker?

For this account, my broker is Pepperstone, I also have bigger accounts with Global Prime and IC Markets.

    2. What money management formula(e) are you using?

At this equity level, I will only trade a max of 3 micro lots per trade, but most of the time, I only trade with 2 micro lots. My stop varies from 10 pips to a max of 75 pips (Max SL only applies to GBPJPY). Most of the time my positions are close with a loss less than 35 pips in average. Only on some occasion that is it over 50 pips.

    3. Could the reporting website access only a sub-account from ones account?

I do not know what you mean.

I got hammered the week ended April 18th. I recovered a little bit with two GBPJPY trades for +70 and +100 pips to end up the week with -331 pips or -5.88%. The month is still positive, we'll see how this month will end up.

  9. any reason why you got hammered ? I mean if you have a list of possible reasons, that could help.

I trade mostly GBPJPY and when it ranges in the hourly, most likely, I will lose due to my strategy being a trend following. Last week it ranged between 169.5 to 170.50 area, so I got stopped out many times. When it finally broke to the upside I recovered a total of +170 pips not including my floating gain.
