It does not need to rise too much before the economy of US soften. Then the fed will lower the rates again
Don't forget the impact of interest rate change takes some time to get into the system, even for, say, a critical rate level that can cause slow down in economy. And it takes even more time before the effects are measured in economic reports
If your relying on past data to tell you the future, think about becoming an economist or a historian.
Kind off reminds me of that old saying:
Why do we have economic forecasts?
To make astrology respectable.
