  3. I'm at a loss. And what you your point be?

Do you not agree that 1074 is closer to 1050 than it is to 1100?

  7. This is what I said yesterday. I still believe this poll is for each of us who voted to decide if we were right, and it probably has more to do with how your trading account has performed than what your response was.

But anyway, let's go over some final numbers. If the S&P makes a high for 2003 of:

1074 -- the "maximum of 1050 or thereabouts" will beat the "around 1100" by a horse racing nose.

1075 -- both answers can be construed as correct.

1076 -- "around 1100" wins by a nose, but the "maximum 1050 or thereabouts" voters can be pleased with a close second.

1110 -- both "around 1100" and "higher than 1100" win this one.

1120 -- "higher than 1100" wins, but the "around 1100" voters can be pleased with a close second.

    1150-- "higher than 1100" is a winner.

Basically, if you've made money on your beliefs, you're a winner, no matter what macal tissues tells you.

  9. I'm still trying to figure out where all of this came from. I certainly am not known for changing rules as I go, i'm known around here for making accurate predictions on the stock market. This "play on words" seems to have come from left field.

This guy macal tissues reminds me of the character pig-vomit in Howard Stern's movie "Private Parts". He stood up and said, "leave this guy to me, I'll take care of him". So macal tissues came after me with this nonsense, and then quickly disabled the handle of my French friend Silvain Garnea, all with the same success pig-vomit had on Howard Stern.
