given that Romeo was selling Oct 1050 and 1075 calls his call of 1050 back in Sept when he was selling proved to be good enough. For those that obviously don't get it, those calls expired out of the money on Oct 17th.

for his accurate call, and to say that he was outta here.

Either one can see the value of a top of range call one month out or they can not.

I don't think Romeo's market posture was to look for a perma-high at 1050. I recall him saying that 1100 was in the cards year end. All I know is that under a couple of screen names, i.e. Nolan, who was bullish last Spring, he made some very percipient calls.

Thanks to Mvic and Pabst for sticking up for me.

And to the fools who crawled out from under their rocks to attack me AFTER I said I was leaving, I have a single question..

Just which category in the above poll do you think is most correct at this point???

  7. I knew you were still around... this thread is like an old folks home without you leading the charge Romeo. C'mon man.... what.... you make too much money now to hang with the boyz in the 'hood?

You were mysteriously absent during my extended farewell week. And you were mysteriously silent when the maggots came out to attack me after I said goodbye.

I'm still here, in spots. There's really no point in me starting threads like this, though. Look how right I was, and look at the recognition I got (or didn't get). Heck, the maggots came out in droves even though the correct answer to the above question is still (A).

I repeat, "1050 or thereabouts" is still the winner!

ps Inandlong, beware of mr. monkey. I see he's straightened himself out somewhat, but its hard for a monkey to change his spots. His purpose remains the same: advertise his website one way or another.

  9. Missed you while the S&P made me a liar... (I called for a retracement to the 990 area prior to a new high above the 1054 area). Things are looking very interesting in here for the S&P and November is for the most part a good month...we shall see.

  10. Was that the week I was on vacation? It seems like the next thing I knew you were saying adios.... to which I PM'd and received no response.... cheeseball.

And there was plenty of good support for you from Pabst and Mvic. For some lame reason when a member who volunteers as moderator adds his two cents, it is perceived differently. In your case it would be favoritism or some BS like that. So better it is that I remain silent and let respected members like the aforementioned carry the torch.
