    Sorry. Yesterday was my Birthday so I took a day off.
    Big mistake. I could have nailed it. I'll make up for it today though.:)

    Since you said ''a top'' not ''the top''-sure should see a top;
    an uptrend by definition is higher highs & higher lows.

    Cant think of a higher probability than guessing an uptrend will contain more tops.

    SPY , in September which is the historicaly the most bearish month of the year;
    SPY went down less than 2% in Sept. SPY is now up again premarket.

    Nicknames are important and Yale Hirsch nicknamed October ''bear killer'';
    50 day moving average on SPY looks like a ''bear killer'' also.:cool:

    posting style you have to give the guy a lot of credit for being one of the few on ET who makes calls on a monthly timeframe that he sticks to despite the daily noise. The fact that he has proven to be right in his calls just adds to his credibility.

    Now I know that day traders won't give him props because they may or may not understand what he is doing or just don't care, but for the type of trading he is engaged in(selling options a month or less out) he is very successful if all he has posted is true (and I have no reason to believe otherwise).

    And if you think that taking a position on what the top or bottom will be for the next month has marginal value, well, all I can say without being disparaging is...think again.

    Thanks Mvic.

    Now, is there anyone out there who wishes to come to walters defense? I say he is the biggest pest on this board. Who wants to defend him??

    walter sees this thread, and all my other threads, and reads a comical response, and decides this thread is about bond trading. walter, get a life first, and the sense of humor will follow. Re-read the bond quote and see if you see anything hypothetical or comical about it. Doubt you will, and I doubt anyone will come to your defense. Now what does that tell you?

    You said you never made a bond call and that was a lie. Wiggle. wiggle little worm .
    I do not need anyone to come to my defense, because I am right and you are just needy liar who always has a couple of supporters to pat you on the back, right or wrong.

    You made a wrong call, so admit it . Because you are dishonest by nature you will never admit that you made a wrong bond call, even when everybody can see it in print. There will be more wiggle and double talk, you are just not able to be honest and straightforward.
    Wiggle, wiggle little worm.

    what's the definition of "hypothetical"?

    and please show me the "call" on bonds I made. And it better not start with, "if this happens, then that would...". That's not a prediction, its a hypothetical, which you should have learned in statistics (if/then), but my money's on the fact you have ZERO education.

    Here's English 101 walter. Above is a straightforward "prediction".

  10. Wiggle , wiggle little worm , no big deal, so you blew one bond call . You will disappear after a few month and come back with another nickname another doubletalk, another helper and overall pathetic existence .
