How good are you?

Discussion in 'Psychology' started by Robby Luca, Sep 18, 2017.

Are you in the top 20% most successful traders on ET?

  1. Yes

  2. No

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Are you referring to automated systematic trading?

    If so,
How long have you been doing this...and, Not to be Sarcastic or anything...but are you like really rich from compounding into the sky... o_O

Or, like most things...are there are drawdowns, or a double-edge sword to consider, or certain side effects that would otherwise slightly hinder a fruitful endeavor,

  2. How old are you that you ended up with Granny's ?

Or were you so drunk you didn't even realize they were much older?

Or are you secretly digging the Granny types ?

You are making assumptions about age here, which leads me to believe you are too young to understand the human condition.

You can be a grandparent very early on. You can be a grandparent at, say, 32 YO.

You have a child at 16 YO. Then your child gives birth when they are 16 YO. That means that at 32 YO you are a grandparent.

You dig? Stop distracting from Robby Luca's thread with your "not-understanding" things. This tangent is "hereth ended"...AGAIN.

Agree, I would also like to hear a bit more about what he does. It seems each week he makes similar brief statements without being challenged such as "TradeStation is best", "I've been doing this since the 70s", "I make 30% per year", "I've developed 200 systems", "I've been programming since the days of Fortron", "Market conditions change and the strategies stop working(his most famous ambiguous statement), "I can teach you how to trade, I charge $100 per hour", "don't get excited, live trading results are only 30% as profitable as backtest results" etc etc.

@Steve Alexander How about you spend a bit more time in here so we can have an actual discussion with you...
