If you feel it is difficult to open a new account with IB (InteractiveBrokers.com), please post WHY and WHAT do you think IB can do to improve the process?

    Thanks.

  4. IB will go broke if there is a competitor in pricing.

  5. So name us one broker that is better than IB in most respects (global tarding spectrum, fast exec, open api with many 3rd party etc. ect.) except for the fees?

Please let us focus on the IB new account open procedure.

    1. Is it easy to online open IB account?

    2. Or, it is very hard to open IB new account on line?

    3. If it is hard, why?

    4. What is your suggestion to improve the new account open procedure?

  8. Its pretty easy if you have proper ID docs, which is pretty reasonable.

If you don't have a proof of address then you can't

On MBT to open an account you have to print and sign like 50 pages, that really sucks

i think -it's depend on where you are from. for US residents it take 15-20 min to open IB account.procedure is easy, everything done online.

Off topic here but the one thing that bothers me about IB is that they have their own MM. Have never used them. Thinking about switching to them but probably won't do so because of the above.
