I don't mean to sound dismissive, but you do not strike me as someone who has ever managed live risk in an institutional setting. There are/were several people like that here and, while I might disagree with them on occasion, it's usually pretty obvious that they have a clue.
I stand by what I say. I think it's a red flag if "traders" are constantly posting during market hours. I've already stated (from my experience) that this isn't the norm but what d08 say can be true and politely requested who so I know who here are pro algo traders. Yet you've decided to go the bully route anyways. What you said shows more about you than myself.
From an institutional setting no, I have not, but I have friends who do who work 50 hour weeks on the west m-f and are working constantly. You're from NYC, I'd imagine they work longer hours there and don't have the free time to read and post on forums during market hours...
Bully? Project much buddy? BTW, some of the people you're interacting with here (not me) are actually experienced professionals actively working in the markets. Your interactions with them have not been....professional. Again it's not clear what you hope to accomplish here on ET? Do you know. Have you thought about it? It seems pretty clear you don't have much to offer anyone here and everyone here is beneath you so you clearly have nothing to learn from them. Why bother unless your intent is to troll?
Isn't my activity public? You can clearly see the history of me helping people so not sure what you're talking about.
sounds like a good idea for a service. how would something like that work from a non-secretive prospective customer's pov?
I'm nowhere near the first person to offer this but I think it's required at this point to stay relevant and offer more than just leverage and low commissions. I'm unsure what you mean by your question but I'm assuming you are asking how can a client trust that a programmer wont steal a clients strategy. Even though NDA's will be signed it's impossible to know what a programmer can or will do with the information you provide them. At the same time the programmers I know are extremely talented and passionate individuals who are more concerned on creating something novel from their own knowledge. I believe most programmers have this mindset. Rephrase your question if I'm not understanding you.
opposite is the case, you are welcome to the strategy A turnkey proven, seasoned production strat coder stable, member(s) for hire no nda for me is this of interest to your gang?
