This is exactly the reason. If you put Buffett's holdings in a mutual fund format he will consistently under-perform the S&P. He will go down as the greatest investor of all time but his legacy should be the greatest businessman of all time. He isn't much better at investing than any other investment manager managing a mutual fund who happens to do fairly well.
You are right. You implied that someone could return 27% per week. My mistake, using your example and the amounts previously stated you imply it could be done in 30 weeks. :eek: There is no other assumption one can make from this. That 27% return weekly consistantly starting with the same balance would get you the same end result. Want to try again.
