The down auction stops and the up auction starts. You are observing a dual continuous auction.

Partial answer is 200 days later + on the top or bottom of a 200 day moving average. A good thing about a trend=they seldom end + many dont know how to read a trend.

    2) With the push of a button.

    3) When the old one ends.

    4) As soon as I take a position, the trend starts on the other side of the trade.

  6. Well, you're asking The Million Dollar crystal ball question there o_O -- and no one in the world owns a crystal ball,

There are alot of fakeout wildcards too thrown into the mix to weed out the joker trader masses, -- I'm kind of loosely quoting Billy Ray Valentine here from the movie Trading Places.

Forget about timing, just aim for closely timing. You can make a very handsome killing in the market by just carving out your middle portion...as another person pointed out with his roast beef example,

The simplest answer I can give you...think of, or envision, Mountains...when you see the top tip...tipping...that's generally, safely, a new backwards trend,
Or think of the bottom of the ocean floor as well starting to slope upwards,

  7. Like the ocean waves on the shore at high and low tide. The waves are random in size, shape and duration, but the tide trends to and fro. Price does the same.........

  8. I think the euro trend started after Trump said the dollar overvalued to euro and that the strong dollar is bad. That was the bottom for the euro.I guess the end of the trend would be when someone saying euro/dollar now has a fair value.Fundamentals start all trends.

Uh, I've been trying to figure that out forever. I think I've finally given up.
Look at a day like yesterday. How do you have any idea that the massive down move is gonna go on and on all day? As it's happening? It's only clear After it's over.

But please if you figure it out. Bottle up the answer and sell it.
