My vote: "Do you have stop and profit targets?"
This thread of mine might interest you: QQQ weekly OTM option trades - 4th and final week
I will be opening my final trade sometime on Wednesday August 24, just before market closes.
my question related to this thread :
can we say selling/buying delta neutral strategy is swing trade options ? or just long/buy options? because i find it hard to play long options for swing trade options.....perhaps you know how to do it, Dario
I'm learning to swing long calls and puts, I didn't see much difference from swinging stocks if you get the trend direction well.
I think swing trading options is a dumb idea. If you look on a delta adjusted basis, options are wider in spread then stocks. And then you have to get the vol and gamma/theta component right to make money. Worst scenario, you are right and don't profit because you got the velocity of the direction wrong.
What's the alternative?
