Hi, I am thinking about opening account with IB . I am daytrading QQQs and I do not know if IB will fit with my style. So I would like to ask you, IB customers, who also daytrade QQQ for experiences. Could you tell me how do you route QQQ orders ? How good and quick fills do you receive ? Can you route to ISLD even it is not available to see its quotes ? And what about NYSE/AMEX routes ? Are they filled ? Do you use IOC orders ? Could you please share your experiences ? Thank you in advance.
avoid amex like the plague. all others work pretty well. sometimes you can finesse NYSE for a good fill between the spread. island still fastest, and you can still route to it.
