skip grades. public schools teach to the mid-to-lowest students. There are some classes for brighter or dimmer people but nothing for top top unless they go to special schools.

Here is another guy that went to college a little earlier than usual:

    Education and career
Shaviv started taking courses at the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa at age 13.[5] After a 3-year service in the IDF Unit 8200, he received in 1994 a Master of Science in physics and a doctorate during 1994–96. During 1996–99, he was a Lee DuBridge Prize Fellow at Caltech's TAPIR (Theoretical Astrophysics) group. During 1999–2001, he was in a postdoctorate position at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics. In 2001–2006, he was a senior lecturer at Racah Institute of physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2006–2012, he was an associate professor, and full professor since 2012. Between 2008 and 2011, he was the head of the faculty union of the Hebrew University, and he served as the chairman of coordinating council of faculty unions between 2010 and 2014. In 2014, he became a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and served as the chairman of The Racah Institute of Physics between 2015 and 2019.

Shaviv just happens to agree with me re so called climate "science" that has predicted CO2 increase is causing "global warming" . The globe may be warming alright, but neither of us believe it's due in any significant way to CO2. We both believe CO2 is a very minor player, consequently we don't think any of the CO2 abatement measures will have any significant effect. (I'm in favor of them though for other reasons.) Shaviv and his colleagues have advanced an alternative hypothesis to explain global climate change and it is the only hypothesis that, so far, has proved consistent with all the most reliable observations. I think he is most likely correct! If so he'll get the Nobel Prize in Physics, but probably postumously.

Pedantic little princess, aren't we? I was answering one of the obvious next questions or assumptions. You're obviously not a chess player in the markets or life.

You are a right wing shithead and can't even read. Now, go back and continue to tell the world that Biden ramped up gasoline prices when in effect it is greedy refinery and oil corporations. Oil decreased in price 25%,gasoline prices hardly moved. It's your greedy elites that you are worshipping and has nothing to do with the administration. Case closed.

Actually, RBOB prices are moving in tandem with WTI. There's always a lag because of the differential of time between acquiring crude and then getting it to the refinery and refining it, and then having it available for delivery.

The backwardation curve on WTI and RBOB is nuts. Especially RB, it's currently at -1700ish ticks. That's a lot!

RBOB does not translate to prices at the pump, unfortunately. At least here in Canada some operators are making a killing at the expense of us all.

Where I live, the state Government mandated a "fuel watch" report, such that every gas (petrol) station has to report tomorrow's pricing for all grades of fuel they sell by 2pm for the next day's period starting 6am.

Such prices are fixed for 24 hours from 6am the next day, and consumers can view, for free, the current and tomorrow's fuel pricing at all venues in a Google Maps-style view.

The variation is quite extreme - eg. today a range of 175.4 - 213.9, average 201.5. (cents per liter (litre)).

1 US Gallon = 3.78 Liter (litre), so for the US people this means a range USD 9.75 - $11.89/gallon.

    Caveat emptor.

OK, this adds convenience to consumers but does not prevent pricing power abuse. Prices where I live are 2.20 a Liter and that's still in BC. All 5 or 6 gas stations in town are around this level. I don't live on an island, my town has major highway access and rail access. There is no perceivable reason for such high prices other than price gauging.

By the way, your math seems completely off. Given the prices you indicated that translates to a range between 6.61 and 8.08 per gallon and if that's converted to USD that's 5.08 to 6.21 usd per gallon.

Not really. I'm in Western Australia - ie AUD, but government has significant fuel taxes too. I was just using this as an example of variability of local fuel pricing.

Your math is completely off, has nothing to do with where you live, lol. Multiply 3.78 by your range... ;-)
