All depends what you are trading. IB charges for some exchanges. $12 for Eurex (prolly 12 EUR), I can never remember since its such a plaltry sum. Most US electronic exchanges are free (globex, ACE). You can use third party tech analysis with IB for free or nearly so. You get what you pay for though. Many people claim to do quite well this way however. I use Esignal which is pretty cheap for a data feed/ tech analysis combo. They do charge for all exchanges (for quotes). Jay
Hi Jay, When you say bonds, you mean the US 30-yr bonds, and not the German bund, right? Do you ever trade the bund?
