Sometimes we need these emotions, in fact we need them all the time. We just have to control them, that's all.

Sometimes in life, things don't just go your way. It's not because you are sick or anything, but it just so happens. The best is to change your line of business or re-strategize.

I also think that trading on demo account is different from trading live. There is sort psychological effect as on demo you are more relaxed and don’t feel so much pain when you lose money. On live account human psychology plays much higher role. In any case, Forex requires continuous learning

One thing I will always say is this, you can't do without emotions. You need them to control your actions, it's just a matter of learning how to control them and not let it control you.

There may be many reasons for being failed or facing loss for a trader, The one I have in mind is the greed feeilng or having less knowledge of the market.

  6. I think the latter of the two is most definitely the case, there's little point in being greedy when you don't even know what you're doing.

Retail FX in particular - because of its wide availability at retail level & low transaction costs unlike other derivatives - it's quite disturbing seeing how uneducated some are whilst thinking they stand a chance.

Bacon, curious who wrote the script you use to clone the demo trades from your production account. Did you write it or was that all bullshit?

Trading (of any symbol in any market) in one respect is no different than any other endeavor - a high failure rate.

No need to dig deeper than that.

Balanced risk-management warrants you can stay close to breakeven. Attempts to make big profit is what kills trading accounts.

Agree. It's when you are leveraged and balanced that you make the big profit though, when markets are 'Inline'.
