How do I trade Forex?

Discussion in 'Forex' started by tradingacct1, Oct 14, 2016.

  1. Looks like that website you are shilling for got deleted from your post and from your ET profile

On that website it states that there are subscription fees to pay after 14 day trial.I guess you did not include cost of advertising in your business model.

It is your word against the website fees. This speaks volumes about your integrity.
I don't want to help you and put a link to your business, instead to your profile to make gentle readers aware

  2. I did my search way before you even replied to my earlier post. How do you think i find out your second name, linkedin does have that. Also i looked at when that website you are shilling for became operational and who owns it

The moment i seen that you registered here on ET only day before and following day you were putting link to that website charging £25 for membership i knew what is up.You are looking for a fool to part with his money.

    "I am offering nothing here"

Well, this is an integrity issue, because if you not being truthful in minor things, than your posted results on that website are just a decoy to sign up and pay and before the unaware member here realizes that,he already parted with his money.

How do they call this in UK, dodgy, yes dodgy.

I am done with this, will not reply again. If it helps someone to see it objectively i did my part.

I have a statistically-significantly higher win-rate (with otherwise equivalent trade management parameters) by trading 1-2-3 reversal formations formed by fast-moving constant-volume bars on Euro and Pound futures than I had when trading those formed on roughly equivalent time-charts of spot EUR/USD and GBP/USD.

(These are by no means the main thing I trade, at all, but they're a convenient example, in this context, just because of their direct and easy comparability.)

  5. Here is a list of things I found useful to know about in Trading Forex and Forex Binary Options. Enjoy :-

Types Of Financial Markets and Their Roles
A financial market is a broad term describing any marketplace where buyers and sellers participate in the trade of assets such as equities, bonds, currencies and derivatives. Financial markets are typically defined by having transparent pricing, basic regulations on trading, costs and fees, and market forces determining the prices of securities that trade.

    Equity Market

    Forex Market
The foreign exchange market (Forex or FX for short) is one of the most exciting, fast-paced markets around. Until recently, Forex trading in the currency market had been the domain of large financial institutions, corporations, central banks, hedge funds and extremely wealthy individuals. The emergence of the internet has changed all of this, and now it is possible for average investors to buy and sell currencies easily with the click of a mouse through online brokerage accounts.

    Index
As it turns out, when most people talk about "the market," they are actually referring to an index. With the growing importance of the stock market in our society, the names of indexes such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), S&P 500 and Nasdaq composite have become part of our everyday vocabulary.

How To Develop Your Own Trading System
Study everything you can about technical, fundamental and quantitative analysis, gain a sound understanding of basic probability theory apply this knowledge with some creativity and come up with a trading idea you think might work. Always employ sound money management methods in your trading plans.
    Back Testing
It is very important to back test your potential trade setups with as much data as possible, upwards of 10,000 setups should be tested to determine if an edge is reliable.

    Historical Data Feed
A Historical Data Feed provides historical price data for variety of financial instruments (e.g. Forex, Commodities and Indices). Most brokers provide historical price data also you can download historical data here
    Curve Fitting
A common mistake in back testing is to keep adjusting the set-up parameters until they work with your given data set, our approach is to test a theory on say one year of data by adjusting the set-up parameters, but then they must be tested on many other data sets without further adjustment.
    Confirmation Bias
A psychological phenomenon that explains why people tend to seek out information that confirms their existing opinions and overlook or ignore information that refutes their beliefs.
    more information
It is almost impossible to avoid confirmation bias if you analyze a system by hand and alone, have an impartial colleague try to disprove your results or better still use a computer program to do the analysis, computers to not suffer from emotional attachment to an idea.
    Execution Discipline
Having decided on your trade setups based upon your significant analysis it is then extremely important to trade exactly as you have tested, our recommendation is to use a computer program to do the execution of your trades, however if you intend to trade your system manually you will probably need to overcome some significant psychological hurdles, we recommend an excellent book called “Trading in the Zone” by Mark Douglas.
    Developing Automated Execution Software
If you are a programmer, you can code your system for automated execution in your favourite programming language, for efficiency we recommend C, C# or C++. If you are not a programmer, then you have a lot more studying to do, or tell us your ideas and we will give you a quotation for the cost of developing and hosting your own automated trading system.
    Real Time Price Data feed
Online brokerages often provide a real-time data feed that displays stock quotes and their respective real-time changes, with a very insignificant lag time, so that clients can base their investing decisions on the most up-to-date information.
    more information
    Forward Testing
Having “proved” your system works with historical data, test it forward using a real money account with small stakes, 1000+ trade setups is a reasonable trial.

    Record and Tabulate Everything
Create spreadsheets and charts to monitor your results, you need to have understanding of when your system is performing outside of expected results so that you can understand when to adjust or suspend your trading model.

How many times we are going test the strategy for our work, dont one think it is waste of time. But we do it because we have to do it, without it we can not trust the strategy for live work with big money.

What I think rather than testing with different strategies in the Forex market it is always a good idea to follow the trend technically with good understanding about candlesticks and patterns and never avoiding good money management which is the key to become a successful trader is more than enough for anyone to meet there expectation in this business i personally Trade like that only and am happy :).
