You sell it by making it profitable. You'd be surprised how intuitive people are, everyone will want to be your friend.

You won't even need Collective2, people will be throwing money at you.

How much return are we looking at? I can daytrade and get a 400% return in 2 months on a consistent basis using a sim and have the data to prove it and even so I am not confident anyone would buy my strategy or say invest in me. People aren't believers until your account shows 6 digits and by then you won't need anyone for that! Also, unlike poker others cannot track your record. GL, trying to get others to back you for it.

I think your best bet is prop trading near your area.

15-25% return a year but obviously with potential for a decent sized drawdown. It has a long term horizon so not for someone who wants quick cash or will need the cash in the next month or 2. I think minimum holding time should be a year for the odds of realizing your 20% to be really high. The longer the better. As I don't plan on charging management fee, this shouldn't be a big issue if you have a long time horizon. Not going to be losing money for you and taking money from you at the same time.

It will be tough to sell a strategy like that.

Finding a big time winning trading strategy via back testing/optimizing is easy to do. It is like winning a computer fighter jet game and asking the Air Force if you can borrow an F15 to go knock down ace mig pilots in combat. At a minimal you need a proven track record of at least 2 years showing remarkable performance and real good risk management. Good Luck :)

May I suggest that you read and study rather than continually posting nonsense. You are completely wrong with the above statement. SO please take a moment to learn rather than running your words and exposing your ignorance.

EVERYONE who sells a strategy has a profitable strategy, some wildly profitable. It's not true that people throw money at profitable strategies since they are generally the only strategies for sale. A winning and sellable strategy needs far more than profits to make it interesting to investors.

  8. A little exaggerated reasoning dont you think?

I have a winning strategy and I still got quite a bit of mortgage payments to take care of.

I have another winning strategy, and even better one, and my kids go to public school.

Come to think of it, I also have another winning strategy and I see car payments left on two vehicles.

I havent had a losing month in quite a bit of time, and instead of the iphone 7 I got the 6, not even 6s, thats two generations ago.

    Get the idea?

You sort of going off on a tangent.

Best strategy sales i ever seen is writing a book. Hell people love buying books for strategies. Of course your strategy will have to stand up to a huge amount of scrutiny and your writing skills will come into play. Then again you could have the best strategy in the world and the best book ever written, then you just have to sell that. Sales is just that sales. Having something and being able to unload is different altogether. I have 5-6 great ideas to make a fortune, i have neither the means nor the contacts to make this happen. Look at shark tank lots of good ideas and still have to sell it to willing buyers.

  10. The level of questions on trading from people with little to no respect for the work it takes to make money have certainly shorten my patience level haha. Started with Durf...alas it is time for me to leave as the place is not what it was.

Also sometimes in between trades it is fun to try and come up with funny names. I happen to like pussy pancake :).
