Iwilldoit : 1) Is the data you wish to verify Intra-day, or daily prices? 2) Is the data for the futures, options, or both? 3) I do not know what you mean by "17h15". (I don't trade /ES, so pardon if this is silly question) Can you clarify? I may be able to help, if the data is /ES daily prices, as I am developing a back testing tool for daily historical data.
1. Intraday 2.Esu5. Es futures contract 3. Lol. 1715 is military time for 515pm Is anyone able to help?
I kust want to ensure that after reformatting columns, and doing delimitation, when i import this massive text file into Ninja... the data is accurate. I already notice that from timestamp to timestamp there is like a 2/3 second difference. Hoping this will not cause any issues down the road, since my entries and exits will be on the 1 min chart. Ideas anyone?
Hi there, I recently reformatted this data from Sierra Text > Excel > Ninja format Text. Took me like a week to figure out how to get the right formulas to format it. Would anyone here be so kind as to check if the data is accurate? It is for July 2015 ESU15 (which means ES contract September). I can't upload the file, since it is too big, but I think I can PM/email it to you. There appears to be some inconsistencies. The bid/asks are out of whack and I see some Saturday and Sunday data, but the markets are closed on the weekends.
