Over the last 2 days whenever I go to a site I get a tool bar saying: This site might require the following ActiveX control:'Flash Player 8' from 'Macromedia Inc.'. Click here to install... It is very annoying, how do I remove this?
Ahh yes, the "Enable advertising on my PC" virus, aka Flash. Here's what I've done, and it's working very well: Use Firefox for my day to day browsing, but without Flash installed. Use Internet Explorer, with Flash installed, for the odd time that I really do want to view Flash on a website.
