How do I configure OEC to view/trade options?

  1. Doesn't seem to be set up that way by default?? my options menu is blank
  2. n/m i talked to their support and figured it out.
  3. why not post the answer in case someone else has the same problems and finds it useful?

    go to your customer portal on OEC site and activate it
  5. My problem was when I would go to View --> Option chain, the menu would be blank.

    The guy I chatted with had me log off and then log back on. I'm not sure if he changed a setting or not.

    Then I went to Orders --> Contract setup and select "options" from the button at the top and then choose the options I want to view.

    Then options began appearing in the Option Chain menu option.

    To trade them, click on the one you want and it will appear in the order menu on the main screen. Choose Buy or Sell and Transmit order.
