No Ross twat for me or any other trade related ad chit. Or much of any other kind either with AV blocker from Chumpie recommended Kaspersky.
With Youtube Premium, the no-ad benefit works on all devices. So if you pay the $14, you don't get ads on your computer, your phone, and any smart TVs you've got that have the YouTube app installed. For me that's a big deal because I got rid of cable TV years ago so almost everything I watch on TV is through Youtube or Netflix. We were using Hulu for TV for a while but recently cancelled it because they were charging me an additional $6.99 per month for no ads but they were showing ads all the time on various shows we were watching, which was annoying.
Maybe it's just me but I've noticed ever since YouTube came out with premium they've almost doubled their ad frequency particularly for music videos. Doesn't really figure since they're supposed to make most of the revenue off ads but they seem to be almost pushing people into premium just through the annoyance factor
I should also mention that Youtube Premium is probably cheaper than $14 if you're an individual, but I bought the family plan so my wife and son don't have to deal with ads either.
Youtube shows skip ads (on right side) on an occasional video. I click it and wah lah. No ads. Months now - 6 at least. Regular not premium. My ad blocker allows ads on ET and that is the way it will stay. Because they are not "in your face'".
On YouTube you can block/select specific ads & advertisers. When seeing an ad, click on the exclamation point, then click on "Stop seeing this ad" or "Ad settings":
