    Exactly. Extreme liberals have such short memories. Remember Obama lecturing Republicans that the Democrats won the election. Now, the shoe is on the other foot and in their hypocrisy, slam President Donald Trump for putting forth his policies? "Do as I say, not as I do."

  4. Well said. I imagine that the US has better checks and balances in place than Germany did at the time, but even so. It is amazing how things can change, and how quickly.

    I had a dim memory of an interview where Orson Wells described meeting Hitler when he and his party were still considered a bunch of "cranks".

    Its interesting how he observed Hitler was an 'invisible' 'unremarkable' personality, until you added the background seig heils of 5000 people.
