What!!! Exactly how many people are in the hospital there per 100,000. If every one is vaccinated every one in the hospital with Covid will be vaccinated, but there will be a very low hospitalization rate for Covid under those circumstances...
Thank you for this bit of sanity. PCR is extremely sensitive in detecting exposure to Corona-19. It can't distinguish between who is contaminated with the virus, who is infected with the virus, and who has a robust immune response and who doesn't. The level of response has to be evaluated in other ways beyond the PCR test. If you have a robust immune response it is almost certain you will have the common symptoms of fever (it can be quite low grade) tiredness, and a general malaise and a feeling you are coming down with something. This will be all that many of those vaccinated will experience if they come into contact with a sufficient concentration of Covid-19. But a few will progress to develop other symptoms and become quite ill. Fewer still will require hospitalization, and a very few of the vaccinated whose health is seriously compromised may die. This is a distinctly different profile than that associated with the unvaccinated who come into contact with Covid-19 virus... The Vaccines have been proven to be highly effective in preventing serious illness from Covid, and because they prevent those who have become contaminated with virus from becoming themselves virus factories, vaccination reduces the transmission rate, but only substantially after a very large fraction of the population becomes vaccinated. Yet the nonsense continues!!!
so you have learned from the lesson I taught you about your moronic statements a few weeks ago...and now you understand the test is unable to determine who is infectious. I congratulate you for at least have the integrity to correct yourself when you are wrong about the science... Its okay that you were unable to thank me for correcting you and apologize for acting like I was citing fake news. I will post this to that thread if I have the chance...
All you have to do is get hold of the hospitalization rate for Covid infection (#/100K) in Isreal for vaccinated and compare it to the rate per 100K for unvaccinated. the latter rate will be a little higher but not much higher in isreal. Why just a little higher in Isreal? Because, dummy, if you have a population in which 97% are vaccinated, as you claim, the unvaccinated are protected as well!!!! The transmission rate has been substantially reduced by the very high rate of vaccination withing the population. This is what we, the educated, have been trying to convey to you idiots all along. It's why Biden and the U.S. government has worked so hard to get nearly everyone vaccinated. Sixty percent vaccinated doesn't confer much protection to the unvaccinated. It's not nearly good enough. That's why it is so fucking selfish for you assholes to refuse to get vaccinated. Stop being so fucking selfish. Go out and get vaccinated. It is people like you that are going to leave us with a situation where we will be stuck with annual boosters for Covid. We had a good chance to wipe out transmission of the virus if all the dullards such as yourself had gotten vaccinated when asked to. These variants popping up are on you. This is harsh, I know. But you are deserving of it. Get vaccinated, Jackass.
Nonsense, it is the product of ignorance, piled on top of more ignorance till it is endemic ignorance.
That sounds wonderful. That Parma ham. Those are the hams people rub with salt and hang in their basements in the fall for months. Very hard to find this side of the Atlantic! For the best pizza crust you need a high gluten flour. I like a thin crispy crust, so I roll it thin, deflate it, paint it with olive oil and pre-bake it at highest heat until browned a little. Than put the stuff on and bake for a few minutes again at high heat.
