Then they told us, we could visit our families on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then it was the vaccinate. All you needed was one shot, and if you got both you were completely safe. Then it was, well if you have the vaccine you still had to the wear the mask and social distance. The Sturgis happened and it was going to be a huge super spreader event. Then Obama had a huge party with no masks and no social distancing,but that was okay. Then Joe Rogan got Covid and got better in 2 days, and the media attacked him. Then Joe Biden said everyone should be really mad at those people who didnt get the vaccines that dont appear to working. And how can we forget, everything that happened prior to January 20, 2021 was all Donald Trump's fault. BTW, this was an exercise I did right off the top of my head. If the masks worked, what anybody else did shouldn't matter, so long as you wear yours. Likewise, if the vax works, what anybody else does should not matter, so long as you get yours. A two week voluntary quarantine became mandatory lockdowns. Treatments were panned to make way for an emergency vaccine (can only have emergency approval if there are no treatments). And don't forget how propaganda/policy was shaped just to spite Trump. A lot of people have died for propaganda/policy on treatments like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and now, monoclonal anti-bodies just to spite DeSantis...the Fed Administration now rationing doses to Florida, even though 50% of people in need of monoclonal antibodies have already been vaxxed with something that is apparently only 47% effective, instead of 90+%.

If the masks by themselves, worked, there would be no further Corona Virus infections. The fact that infections continue to be out of control, shows that the masks are ineffective. Even now, extreme liberal media idiots including, Anthony Fauci has not figured out that most of the masks being used by average Americans provide very little protection? Cloth masks won by most, are very flimsy without even a filter? That there are huge gaps in the nose area for the Coron Virus to enter? An engineer tested the various face masks and only the N95, used by doctors and nurses and the KN95, one grade below it, provided enough protection. Both masks covered the nose and mouth and was snug as it should be.

It was an unrealistic goal for the United States and its social habits. It's the reason why in 2020 they put so much emphasis and money on Vaccines because they knew face mask wear, lockdowns, quarantines, border closures were not a realistic goal for defeating a Pandemic.
