ET may have something to prove. But traders earning their bread with technical analysis definitely have nothing to prove. They will buy your diaries with technical analysis money, whether you believe it or not.
Mr. Farmer, imagine if someone came to your job site and started telling you that what you do in your business is impossible and a completely pointless. Someone who has zero experience in your line of work... This is what you are doing on this website.
I've seen no proof that any of you make a substantial living doing this. Or even a substantial ROI. And every time I pose questions that actually make sense, you respond with riddles or by diverting the questions to nonsense.
Anybody who "knows trading", understands that you don't "get it". You're "fishin' in a dry hole" and complaining that "the fish ain't bitin'". Of course you're not getting any bites where you're fishing. All needling aside... via TA you can when the probabilities favor a directional move. (Doesn't say "how long lasting or how large of a move, however). You watch for them and play them. That's it. That's all you get... but it's enough to work. More difficult than it sounds.
