This is a smart statement...although some consider time stops to be highest in importance, Mark Fisher has made that claim.

    meh, less so.

You can't blame day traders for closing by the end of the session. Most movement happens overnight so you eliminate gap risk by doing so. Not being able to manage your position for several hours sucks.

I think the heart of your argument is "day trading is stupid"...and that's hard to refute lol.

To overcome this, you must have a trading plan in place. It tells you what to do and what not to do. Your trading plan must include a detailed understanding of the forex market fundamentals like currency pairs and pips etc. Especially your risk management strategy and your entry and exit plan.

You misunderstood the intend. For me it is about risk management & control.

If I am not watching and managing my trade, I want to be flat.

  4. Come on man we already know 99% of traders and investors only know how to use time, account size/position size and natural bullish bias of major US equities as way to turn a profit. That's my slogan I repeat ad nauseam, but that doesn't mean those are the only edges out there.

  6. The best I can say based on my experience is to try to simply learn from your mistakes and add what you have learned to your trading, and then you will see results.
