How can I find a job as money manager?

Discussion in 'Professional Trading' started by moneyfx, Aug 17, 2006.

  1. Display and document the ability to manage your own funds.

If you are able to show that you have that ability, others will likely be motivated to let you manage theirs.

    Good luck

I have a friend he is a Fund Manager.

He has been trading since 2002.

He Took 1-3 Million under management, and charges 4% Fee

In order to become a Fund Manager one way to do it is,

Setup a RIA Register Investment Advisor,
Google "RIA in a Box" This is the cost to setup a RIA which is the business.

Investment Advisor you must study and pass the Series 65.
Google "Pass the 65" 155$ for entire study material with
    5 CD AUDIO

Once you have a 2 year Track record, good one...
In my friends case.... This past year, 103% thus far in 2006

You can go before the Big Institutions, and request more funds,
Upwards 20-40 million depending on your trading strategy.

Any questions feel free to email me,
I believe thats enough to get you started
    in the right direction.

    Sincerely,

    JC
