How can I do Short Selling with out margin

I dont like to use margin on my account is there other methods?

In a non-margin account such as an IRA for example you can generally trade options so you could buy puts deep in the money and far out. This position while not identical to short stock is good enough in most cases and may have advantages over shorting a stock directly. But of course you have to be careful not to pay too much for the puts.
