How are states going to fund unemployment benefits going forward?

How are states without the help of free handouts going to build up their jobless benefits funds moving forward if these funds depend on taxing employers on a small portion of their employee wages? Where is this money going to come from if small businesses that make up most of the employment in our economy are gone?

  2. "The usual". The Feds will keep giving states money (as to cut anybody off would be unthinkable)... until our financial system implodes.

  3. Free money for everyone!!! Who needs to work. They'll just keep extending unemployment benefits for eternity, paid for by the Feds. Otherwise, once unemployment runs out, and you still can't find a job, then you have to go on welfare, food stamps, and medicaid, and that still costs money to the state. Someone has to take care of the people.
