Box wine. of course. -- I'm part of the weird Walmart crowd. I hate snobby...expensive...things like bottled wine. with their fancy labels looking and feeling like college degrees.
OK, I'll start a thread over there. I think maybe we need a separate thread for the box wine people though...I'm too embarrassed to be seen with them
I'm not a wine connoisseur, but my wife and I share a bottle of wine almost nightly and I've had my share of great and not so great wines in my 54 years. Considering taste and value I will agree most box wines do not measure up, however, there are some good box wines out there like Espiga from Portugal. It's not the best wine I have ever had but it is a perfectly drinkable/enjoyable wine if you like dryer earthier reds. At $24 for the box the equivalent bottle price is $6.00, but it honestly drinks more like a J. Lohr or a Charles Smith Red which are both around $20.00.
