I am looking for people to discuss financial markets and stocks. I trade stocks for both short and long term using fundamental backtesting and macroeconomics. I am not much into futures or options though.

    Are we meeting soon guys?

Just curious... I lived in Houston from 1986 until mid 1988. While I was there, I was active in an organization called the "Houston Computer Investor's Association." Those were in the days when PC's were relatively new, and the internet was barely a dream. Do any of you Houston old-timers remember that organization/club? If so, how long did it last? Seems like we used to have meetings about once per month, there was a typed newsletter that would go out, etc. Good place to interact with fellow traders/investors.
