maybe you can apply for welfare & get free food and housing too? geez, people are absolutely amazing. earth to vinny - its not "free", you just want someone else to pay for it. worthless hump.
Rofl, children out there, this above poster said that working for a private company is more honorable than working for a public one. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? And when asked what company the above poster worked at that, he didn't answer. Can anyone name an honorbale company? And whats the expected decline in housing to be this year, a few percentage points? Wow, what happened to that crash from the above poster along with the other apartment dwellers who started a few too many threads on this site over the past 3 years? And DHI along with the other HB's were such easy trades at the time I mentioned them, some even doubled in that short period. I notice the title of the site is "trader" not "self proclaimed worker at honorable job because I couldn't get a real job with a real company but as long as I proclaim the company the place I work at as honorable, I know I can fool myself into thinking my life is worth living."
If the illegals in this country can get free healthcare, I'm hoping other countries in Europe can offer that as well, especially if you purchase a home there. By the way, if one is vacationing in a foreign country and an emergency happens, who pays for the doctor or hospital visit, assuming that you do have to pay and don't have enough or any money?
geez:eek: yeah, i can see the signs at the airport. "This week only, free lifetime health care with every home purchase." like i said, you just dont want to pay for it. i say bon voyage to you and every other worthless hump trying to get someone else to pay for their liabilities, while they decide how to spend their money solely on themselves (home purchase). dont go to mexico... they demand cash up front, and if you die, they will go and walk your casa off into the sunset (brick-by-brick if necessary). we're done
I would pay for health insurance in Europe; I'm sure that it would be really cheap, but I'm not sure if there even is such a thing as health insurance in a country that has socialized medicine. Any Europeans out there that know?
i have blue cross. i pretty sure they cover me in certain foreign countries; i'm pretty sure i saw a list of countries and participating hospitals or docs at one time a good insurance agent can cover that for you. i'd be real careful about cancelling any existing coverages, particularly if you have pre-existing conditions.
I heard from an AM radio station that economists said it's going to take 12-15 years for home prices to get back to the recent peak. Meanwhile price decline is expected.
Only people cheerleading RE now are realt-whores. In my area prices are down 40% from peak and still diving. 430 sold last month and 9000 units on the market... Yep that's vibrant. Low end is DEAD! Only places that sell are the high end. The tree is/has toppled here.
Around the corner from me there is a house that sold for 440k on 12/14/2007. It had previously sold for 631k on 2/14/2006 ! Someone took a solid 30% hit. Houses on my street are declining at 8-12k a month according to Zillow. Ouch. Nice to read back on this thread on the posters that nailed this decline and the BS behind this sham of a housing bubble, and the others that bought into the whole thing...hook, line, and sinker. OWP
