Housing Rolling Along 2

  1. Thank you for saying you enjoy my posts.

The reason we have not made much progress to date is because we don't understand on the genetic level how disease works. This is because we have not had the tools to study the body like we will have in the near future, next 10 years etc.

Once we figure out the human genome and understand the genes we will know how to stop those diseases because we will understand how they work.

Once we figure it out then disease, aging etc will be a thing of the past.

If may be 50 years off but sooner or later we will get there.

  2. Agreed that this path could well turn lead into gold. It makes for increasingly interesting times.

  3. I live in the Atlanta area. I love it. Alot cheaper than NJ where I moved from, and no snow.

Something about the california sky and weather that even makes it difficult for me to even watch the x games.

Something about the excitement and vitality of the youth and the people hooked into big projects. (that could make everyone they know millionaires.)

something about going out to breakfast and seeing some very very attractive women walking around, even the ones with kids.

something about being 6 hours drop everthing and hit powder at one of the best mountains around and knowing the whole time when you are done you are returning to the best whether and perhaps best place in the country. (except for traffic.)

I do not even have to discuss the surf, mountain bike riding, and other insane recreational possiblities.

Car trips to hikes in natiional parks and riding in moab.

The vitality in the business and the wonderful temperatures.

I really think what I miss most is the Western sky and dealing with people who think their busines future is wide open. It was just very vibrant.

here I meet very smart people, but even the ones my age know they are done. Although this might be changing as some new multinationals are moving branches into Lakewood Ranch. And we are starting to get some hedge fund guys because of he insane golf courses here.

the above was all written without really thinking, just streaming.

  6. I use to think Atlanta was great until I moved to San Diego 8 years ago.

I know all you NJ people love it here. Cheap housing and better weather.

  7. Yup, something about the sky in the West. Its blue!

Always seems gray anywhere out East. I think its the humidity that does that.
