12 million people and we need to spend 1 trillion? How about we just give em each 1 million for their health care expenses to cover the next 10 years at a whopping cost of 12 million? Rinse and repeat each 10 years. The answer is because this isn't about insuring those who want it but can't afford it.
I'd make just one edit here. Employer paid health care coverage is additionally paid for by employees in that the raise they might have gotten went to help pay the employers end of the premium and insurers profits ...and I wouldn't doubt insurers target it.
Man I swear I am not following you around picking on you. But, just like companies and businesses and the local yard boy do not pay taxes, employers and the government do not pay for health care. Consumers and employees pay for everything.
