Well, I do at times start a pot of sauce premkt, and occasionally, if my wife is not at home, I do need to leave my little home office to go down to my kitchen and make like an internet troll - you know, "give the pot a stir." :) But mostly I just trade. Usually I try to be done by noon, but the last couple of months the afternoons have given as much opportunity as the mornings, so after a siesta, I sometimes get right back at it.

I do everyday, but not SLA, just the version of AMT, as I understand it from your teachings. However, I do only glance at the screen occasionally, as my primary chart is daily, and entries are based off of 15 minute chart. My personality is more suited to intraday swing, as opposed to scalping 2 points here, 3 points there; I'm too old for that...lol

PS: Thank you for your contributions, I got my feet wet in trading over ten years ago, while reading your "Journey" PDF.

Yeah, ten years is about right. Wish I knew what happened to the guy who wrote it.

How's the 15m interval working for you?

And this is why I use swing points to gauge strength and weakness.

    8 points to go.

    Yeah, me too...lol

The 15 minute interval fits me like a glove. It does not get me in at the exact tops, and bottoms, but it does offer more confirmation, and plenty of time to make decisions, so it's a trade off. But I'm happy with that, as it keeps me in the trades a whole lot longer than a 5 minute chart, and cuts down on number of trades.

That's good. I hope you contribute more. Nearly all the people who are trying to daytrade shouldn't be since they're not in a position to do so. If someone else can show how to use a longer bar interval, it might make more of an impression.
