Hourly charts

Where should hourly bar begin? I am looking at HSI, Trading opens at 9:45 est. Should bar 1 commence at 9:45 and end at 10:00, or should it proceed to 10:45, the 15-minute difference shifting all subsequent candles.

 

Hourly charts cut the last bar short.

 

Well my friend, just keep it in the same place and do some good research with *your* charts.

 

Probably doesn't matter. Just wondering what others were doing. In eSignal, depending on where you start the time template, e.g. 9:45, or 9:00 is where all the bars will be situated.
