I begin with GOOG, RIMM, AAPL, SHLD.

another question: what's better, figuring out what are the hottest right now, or what WILL be the hottest tomorrow?

 

Equity Trader.com( Bollinger's site)
has a ranking feature for performance and future potential and the hottest names always show up.

Also, Barcharts.com has - beside sector rankings - a list of the top 100 performers by Alpha. Hot stocks keep popping up on these lists.
