Pedophile vs. homosexual is not a PC issue. It indicates essential motive. What is the more meaningful way to describe a man who has sex with unwilling adult females: heterosexual, or rapist?

A "mere" homosexual man can go and get homo sex outside the church, legally. Presumably they would, since getting caught is shame, but not jail.

But these guys are turned on by kids. That is a function of what makes Mr. Happy hard. If it's males that make you hard, you're gay, we don't like it, but you're not going to jail. But if it's kids that make you hard, and you act on it, you're a pedophile. It's possible some of these priests get hard for cock, young or old, so they are homo and pedo, but I think it's probably just the old power differential turn-on of the pedophile that motivates most of them.

I also think pedophiles try to become priests, I don't think priests become pedophiles.

Edit: I don't think the guys whose Mr. Happy gets hard for kids have to act on it to be considered pedophiles--getting hard for kids is evidence enough.

The answer to your first question is - either a bi sexual or straight rapist.

We are dealing with pyschological issues here.
I for one have never bought into the idea that rape is only about power.

I dated at least two women who were raped before I knew them, they were both very pretty.

Rape victims seem to be young... and when we see them on the news they seem to be pretty.

You can't tell me lust is not part of the deal. That rape or child molestation is all about power is very likely to be P.C. bullshit.

I would wager that Rape and child molesters are sexually attracted to their victims.... a large percentage of the time. How could it not be a spectrum of lust vs power or anger? Do you think rape in the army is about power or are those soldiers just getting off. When women are raped by a few men at once... you really think 5 guys need to assert their power over the women.
That is such p.c. crap. Its horned up men crossing the line and losing control. Are there also some guys trying to soley assert their power because they were abused ... I am sure there are. But, taking those ideas and dismissing the sexual nature of child molesters.... thats bullshit. That also seems to fly in the face of the man boy love association and their rhetoric.

You must examine the motives of the people spouting out P.C. nonsense and you must question what passes for pop information these days. If it involves people outside the norm - it is almost always filled with bullshit.

I think the problem with lust as a prime mover is that it's the prime mover in all sexual action, normal and deviant. So, it holds no actionable explanatory power. Trying to understand what motivates one person to deviance, but not another, at least gives us a shot at prediction, prevention and/or control, however remote. (I'll not mention rehabilitation, because my experience as a corrections officer leads me to believe there isn't any practical rehab.)

I was pointing out the lust component to indicate the crime was at least in part motivated by a strong desire for sex.

    vs.

a strong desire to control or dominate that person.

  8. We already know a large reason why people rape in the united states. Its pornography. The US has one of the highest numbers of rape victimes in the world (behind a few war torn african countries). But nobody wants to get rid of their porn as they dont believe "it hurts anyone" or "why should they lose their fun just because someone else cant control themselves"

After high school I remember a few kids that I went to school with ended up getting convicted of rape. These kids were the ones that always talked about sex in school over and over and would constantly look at porn magazines (no internet back then). So knowing why doesnt help prevent once you know why.
