All a matter of perception. The media works to twist public perception to align with the dictates from their bosses. In this case, Trump spoke to the public directly over the heads of the media... the public can shape their perception directly on his words rather than the media filter.
And by all accounts, other than Fox and Breitbart, made a fool of himself in doing so. You're right; cut out the middleman.
So according to the liberal media... who hate Trump with a passion... he made a fool of himself by going directly to the public over their heads. At least that is the perception the media is attempting to twist public into believing. At expect the public will build their own perceptions based on Trump's direct communication. Some will favor his plans and others will not... but at least their perceptions were built via direct communication and not what the media invented.
[QUOTE"java, post: 4409317, member: 494827"]He accomplished: People hearing day in day out how unfit he is and what disarray his whole administration is in, and then seeing him up there just fine and the media all being exposed for their lying propaganda. I always wanted to say that to CNN.[/QUOTE] Good point, but respectfully, if his staunch supporters need reassuring after a mere three weeks, that support isn't very deep. Beating up the press is fun to watch, but he didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. Just sayin.
Come on. The guy's a flake: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...-the-next-4-years.306238/page-18#post-4409506
Only because he gets shit on his shoes every time he does it. He's just embarrassing himself. The media need not do anything but stand back, watch and record. And he's holding a rally in Florida on the weekend? WTF? More reassurance, I suppose. The question is, For whom?
