Wasn't paying attention and missed the sell at 296 today. Hoping to get a chance to short pcln again if we come back to 296 area tomorrow, goodluck.
And another 52 week high, price target raised to $350 today, simply amazing fools would pay this kind of price for a share of priceline.com, nearly $16 BILLION dollar market cap for a dot com. Its an online travel company, there are dozens of these websites out there that do the same thing. got a whole bunch of sept 310 and 320 puts. This is just painful for me right now. if somethings doesn't happen by Friday, I am done.
next friday. you are in hope and pray mode. 310 is $2.5 and 320 $5 still, if the stock stays around atm/otm, the premium will begin to crash next week as it closes to expiration. What % of your total account is in those puts? If you cant afford to lose the whole thing, bite the bullet take the loss and salvage some off the table. Adjustments are usually futile when the underlying moved this much already, rollover to next month is the most common to save theta decay, but if the underlying doesnt come down you will just be losing more money, no way around it. The one thing i would not do is wait until expiration. good luck
Thanks for your advice. A sizable chunk of my account is in those puts. I am probably going to liquidate them tomorrow. I had a really good run with PCLN until this happened.
Liquidated all of my puts after a pretty big loss. with my luck this will tank next week now that I don't have any positions in it.
It's dangerous to your bank account to listen to all the permabears on here who are constantly suggesting easy shorts are out there in a bull market. Note that very few of them have the ability to TIME their ideas in a profitable fashion.
