Received e-mail from TT. Below is a version of it from another webbie. TT X-Trader which is by far the best futures platform on the planet lowers the price and enhances other items............ http://www.finextra.com/News/Announcement.aspx?pressreleaseid=49726 PS: This has nothing to do about Velocity. There are plenty of great brokers in Chicago that do not force you to wire funds both ways........ ADVANTAGE Futures as an example......
Hmm TT must be feeling pricing pressure from competitors. Do you know which? Maybe from CTS T4 which is bringing out its own auto-spreader this month?
CTS said they probably wont be even charging for the autospreader at first at least, however it does run on your computer, not server side the only upside to this is that you wont go over the messaging limit. It will be probably rolled into the $200 dollar CTS version. But anyone who has used the TT autospreader knows how amazing it is and if you can afford it it is probably worth it. I am very excited to try out the CTS version though. One of the best things regarding the changes to tt is that you can cancel immediately instead of having to pay for an extra month.
Now that the so-called 'Transactional model' for TT price is official and will be effective next week, will Velocity Futures adopt the TTNet Pricing? https://www.tradingtechnologies.com/pricing/
What do you understand when there is a new transactional model announced by TT effective June 1 (for TT Net $0.50 per side $500 cap for Xtrader standard) that should cut costs introducing officially the transactional model, while at VF web site they wrote; X_TRADER free expires 5/31/2013 ?
Scroll down to the bottom. http://www.tradewithvelocity.com/trading-platforms/x-trader7.aspx In line with what TT has announced.
