Any thoughts on this? Would it be wise to hold a position in any pair over the weekend? I've noticed some crazy spikes at the Aus. open. Widen the stops on Friday?
I would advise not to hold over the weekend. Generally advise not to hold overnight either unless necessary. Too many variables can affect Sun open i.e. back in Nov AUS legged down on open Sunday night. If you're long, you got hit. It's better to close position Friday, take your profit or loss and start again on Sunday. Unless you are a medium term position trader with assets to cover swings (and it appears most trading fx aren't) then don't do it. In my experience.
